Compensation: Competitive hourly rates, based on experience and class duration
Schedule: Flexible hours, with availability in the mornings and afternoons (weekdays and weekends)

Position Overview
We are looking for passionate and qualified fitness instructors to lead senior fitness classes in various community centers and assisted living facilities throughout the US. Classes will include:
Chair Yoga
Chair Exercise – Sit and Be Fit!
Seated/Standing Zumba Dance/ Belly Dancing
Seated Tai Chi – Meditation in Motion
Instructors should have expertise in at least two of the above areas.
After starting, in your first month, we aim to provide you with 1-3 introductory/demo classes at various retirement communities near you. These are opportunities for you to get your foot in the door and to possibly secure these communities as long-term clients. If these classes go well and clients are receptive, our goal is to continue to market/promote you and provide you with 1-3 new communities/clients for each subsequent month, until you reach 5-10 hours/week of regularly scheduled classes (or potentially more if you would like). Note – The above is our goal, however, depending on region and market conditions, this level of new business is not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead 45 to 60-minute fitness classes that are safe and effective for older adults, including those with mobility or cognitive challenges.
Create a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages active participation.
Adjust exercises based on individual needs, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.
Track the progress of participants, providing feedback and making adjustments where necessary.
Coordinate with facility staff to arrange classes and ensure all logistics are in place.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications in Yoga, Personal Training, Tai Chi, Zumba, or other related fitness disciplines.
Experience in teaching fitness classes to seniors or individuals with special needs.
Excellent communication skills and an empathetic, patient approach.
Ability to travel to various locations within the US.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications in senior fitness or rehabilitation.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Personal liability insurance.
Work Location:
Our trainers teach classes within a 15-20 minute radius from where they live. Trainers are expected to drive to client-site locations to teach classes. Classes will be grouped in the same geographic area to minimize travel time.
